The magic charm to success is hard work

Once there lived a man named Suglo (meaning “patience”) in a far African savanna land called “youm a tuma” (meaning “love your work” ) though his name and that of his village should have serve as life’s guideline virtues to success , Suglo was so lazy that he would not flinch for a pay .
Desiring so much to get rich anyway, which he believed was his destiny; he decides to consult a native doctor.

Suglo: I believe it time to have my destiny manifest. So prepare for me a charm, which can make me rich quickly.
Native doctor (wanting to teach him a lesson): There is a lot to given for these kinds of charms. Are you sure you can reach its demands?
Suglo: I am ready for this and nothing can stop me; just tell me what is required.
Native doctor (handing an empty bottle to suglo): Fill this bottle with your own sweat. I will prepare with it a charm for you.
Determined, Suglo sets out to fill the bottle. He decides to start a farm on a piece of land his father left him, so as to fill the bottle with the sweat from his work. Clearing the land, he gathers some firewood, sells them to a palm wine brewer, hence making some extra money. Each day he squeezes out his sweat from his shirt, which surely was from the hard work he kept in on the farm. He was so critical about that, trying to get the bottle filled so as to get his charm prepared.
Continuing this routine for a farming season, he got so rich that, he felt he did not need the charm anymore. Returning with the bottle filled with his sweat;
Suglo: I do not need the charm anymore, I am rich and I have enough.
Native doctor: That was meant to get you work hard, for hard work is the only charm to success.
Suglo then continued in his newly found life. He became the richest man in his village, living happily ever after.
